Install Seequre on IIS when using MDaemons internal webserver for Worldclient

Here is a step by step installation for Seequre when you are using MDaemons internal webserver for Worldclient.

You need to have SQL Server (express) and IIS installed on the server and MDaemon

Make sure you have opened port 444 or the port you want to use for access to Seequre from outside your network, and that DNS pointers have been updated.

Run the downloaded file, click more info and run anyway. Our next version will have an updated certificate so this error will be gone by then.


Deceide where you want to have seequre installed.
Depending on the amount of data (files uploaded)

You might also consider on which disk your databases should be.

App Name (name that will appear in IIS manager)
Web Site domain (URL for where your users should connect)

On this install we use custom port 444 so users would need to log into
video.yourdomain.com:444
Website port is necessary for Letsenrypt to generate a SSL certificate for your server.

Install is now finished.

Go into IIS Manager and under application pool, click name you made for application, default is seequre. Click recycling and and add these values

08:00,10:00,14:00,18:00,20:00,03:00

 

Check bindings and if service is running.

 

If server is not running and want start, there might be a portconflict.
Make sure to check before contacting us.

Things to check

check SNI enabled
make sure that domain name & port not changed after install

After version 2.0.2 of Seequre we require .NET Core version 3.1
